Given the task of creating a market viable impact product within a 15 day sprint our team decided to address the environmental impact of fast fashion, driven by overconsumption and a lack of accessible, trustworthy sustainable options.
ReClo aimed to bridge this gap by creating a platform that empowers users to make informed, eco-friendly shopping decisions.

Originally pivoting from sustainable clothing to user-centered, behavior-driven solution by designing a dual-platform experience: a website and browser extension.
User research revealed awareness but low adoption due to inconvenience, so we prioritized a seamless, intuitive experience with a consistent design system.
We found it important to deliver clear, engaging sustainability info and iterated with user feedback to refine the product and build trust.

Through much iteration we found a way to deliver a seamless way to shop and search using ReClo. The team landed on a core set of features that included:
Users could now instantly find verified, eco-friendly alternatives to the items they already want. The browser extension aimed to make this experience intuitive and non-intrusive, while a cohesive design system presents clear, digestible sustainability information that builds trust and encourages more conscious purchasing decisions.

DESIGN & PROCESS
I learned to adapt quickly and pivot from physical to digital solutions while collaboration and constant feedback improved our ideas. Building a design system for a product strengthens consistency and scalability.
Next time, I would involve users earlier and test more frequently.
STRATEGY & GROWTH
I learned to break complex problems into market-viable solutions. The project improved my leadership and communication skills. Constraints like time and resources pushed me to be more adaptable and resourceful.
Next time, I would define scope earlier and align the team faster.
Special thank you to Team ReClo.
